The Cannonball Run

On Tuesday night, my faithful 500GB hard drive in my Macbook failed. It was a slightly depressing moment, but as I had gotten my documents off onto a backup drive, and because I was talking to Jason about purchasing his rebuilt Macbook, it wasn’t so bad.

On Wednesday afternoon, I did the Cannonball Run to Sydney and back, and played Swift and Shift Couriers. Of course, I got to have a talk to Jason about things. Which was good. We had alot to talk about, like usual. And on the way home, Andrew called, and we also had a talk.

This morning, I received two parcels: one, the motherboard for the StarSeer, and two, PC/104 wide input power supplies. And I’ve ordered the case, the SSD and a USB hub for the StarSeer. So thats off to a good (if delayed) start.

I’ll get some photos when I’m putting the computer together.
